A Safe and Joyful Festival, Built Together

Oktoberfest Seoul aims to foster a fun and safe festival culture. Since alcohol plays a central role in the celebration, mutual care and safety matter just as much as the fun itself. To ensure every participant enjoys the festival safely from start to finish, please keep the following guidelines in mind.

🍺 Alcohol Guidelines

• Alcohol service is limited to those aged 19 and over (Korean age); ID verification may be requested on-site.

• Please drink responsibly and at your own pace, and be sure to stay hydrated with water. Drinking water stations and bottled water will be available on-site.

• We recommend eating food while drinking. Drinking on an empty stomach can lead to rapid intoxication and health risks.

• If a participant is deemed excessively intoxicated, further alcohol sales may be restricted for their safety; please cooperate with staff instructions in such cases.

• Outside alcohol and food are not permitted inside the venue — thank you for your understanding.

• Pregnant guests, designated drivers, and minors accompanying guests are welcome to use the non-alcoholic beverage zone.

🚗 Getting Home Safely

• Never drive after drinking. Please plan ahead using public transportation or a designated driver service.

• We recommend using a "designated driver" system — choosing one member of your group in advance who will not drink.

• Please make use of the venue's safe-return assistance booth (or public transit information point).

• When heading home late at night, we recommend traveling with companions whenever possible. If traveling alone, please consider letting a friend or family member know you've arrived safely.

🙌 A Mature Festival Culture

• Please be considerate and respectful toward fellow participants. Excessive disturbances, verbal abuse, or violent behavior will result in immediate action.

• Please refrain from unwanted physical contact or any behavior that may make others uncomfortable.

• Please use the designated smoking areas within the venue.

• Please dispose of trash properly in the designated bins. A clean festival ground is a small but meaningful courtesy that benefits everyone.

• For matters such as pets or personal tents/mats, please check the pre-announced venue policies before use.

🆘 In Case of Emergency

• If an emergency arises, please immediately notify the nearest safety staff member or the information booth.

• The location of the medical emergency booth can be found on the venue map at the entrance.

• Lost children, lost items, safety incidents, and other emergencies can all be promptly addressed at the information booth.
